Magpul ESK Selector (CZ Scorpion EVO 3)

The Magpul ESK Selector kit replaces the factory CZ Scorpion EVO 3 safety with a configurable system that lets you set lever length on each side independently. The factory Scorpion selector is widely complained about for being too far from the firing-hand thumb on standard grips; the ESK fixes this by giving you a long lever on the firing side for a confident sweep and a short lever (or the included flush cap) on the off-side to keep it out of the trigger finger's path.

The kit includes both short and long paddle options plus a safety-delete cap that blocks the off-side hole entirely if you prefer a clean profile or are running a brace against the side of your face. Installation requires only a 1.5mm hex wrench, no gunsmithing, and the included mounting screws thread directly into the factory selector axis. The polymer paddles match the texture and finish of Magpul's other Scorpion accessories like the MOE-EVO grip.

This is the right safety upgrade for most Scorpion shooters who don't need the steel-drum durability of an HBI ambi safety. The ESK costs roughly half what the HBI commands and the configurability is genuinely more useful than the HBI's fixed lever shape, especially when paired with the MOE-EVO grip's reshaped angle. Steel-drum upgrades make sense for high-round-count duty or hard-use builds; for everyday range, training, and home-defense Scorpion configurations, the ESK is the better value.
