Overview

The Seekins Precision Safety Selector Kit is Seekins' best-selling product, which tells you something about demand for a competent ambi safety at a reasonable price. The drum is machined from 1144 steel with 60 and 90-degree throw positions built in. Flip the drum over to switch between throws, no extra parts needed. The levers are 6061-T6 aluminum, anodized, and can be mounted on either side.

The kit ships with both a standard-length lever and a shorter lever, letting the shooter configure long/short, short/short, or long/long depending on preference. The anodized finish comes in black, FDE, and red, with the red being popular for competition builds where visual indicator matters. At $59, the Seekins slots neatly between the $8 mil-spec selector and the $80+ premium options from Badger, FCD, and Radian.

One compatibility note: Seekins explicitly warns against using this selector with Hiperfire triggers. For every other standard trigger group, it is a drop-in replacement. The 0.7-ounce weight makes it one of the lighter ambi options, and the dual-throw drum means you can experiment with 60 and 90-degree configurations without buying a second selector.
