Magpul
Extended ambidextrous magazine release paddle for CZ Scorpion EVO 3 with larger surface and textured ridges
The factory CZ Scorpion EVO 3 magazine release is small, slick, and positioned just far enough from the trigger guard that one-handed reloads with the firing-hand index finger are awkward. The Magpul MOE-EVO Enhanced Magazine Release replaces it with a larger paddle that retains the ambidextrous geometry but adds significantly more surface area and textured ridges for positive activation with or without gloves.
The paddle is shaped to allow a one-handed press-and-strip reload technique without breaking firing-hand grip, which the factory release fights against. Despite the larger surface, the design stays low-profile enough that it does not snag on slings, plate carriers, or holster lips. Installation requires a 5/32-inch roll pin punch to drive out the factory pin and the same pin reinstalls the MOE-EVO; total install time is under five minutes if you have a small punch and a brass hammer.
This is one of the cheapest meaningful upgrades on the Scorpion. At under $20, it directly fixes a frequently-cited factory ergonomics complaint, qualifies as a US-made part for 922(r) compliance on imported carbines, and pairs naturally with the MOE-EVO grip and ESK selector for shooters building a complete Magpul ergonomics package.
