Midwest Industries
Extended aluminum M-LOK forend for the Marlin 1895 with an integrated ghost-ring rear and front sight, the single-part tactical conversion for the .45-70 lever.
Midwest Industries set the template the whole tactical-lever trend now follows, and the Extended M-LOK Sight System is the most complete single part you can bolt to a Marlin 1895. It is a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum handguard, hard coat anodized for corrosion resistance, that replaces the factory wood forend and wraps the barrel with M-LOK slots for lights, lasers, bipods, and sling hardware. The extended length pushes the support hand forward for better recoil control on a rifle that kicks like the .45-70 does.
The reason to buy this version over the bare MI-MARMR handguard is the integrated ghost-ring sight system. A protected ghost-ring rear and a front post come built into the assembly, so you get a fast, durable iron-sight setup as part of the conversion rather than a separate purchase. A top Picatinny section hosts a red dot, scout scope, or low-power variable when you want glass.
Fitment is the new Ruger-built 1895 in .45-70. Marlins without a handguard cap can use Midwest's MI-MAR336A adapter to install. This is the foundation most SBL and Dark Series owners build their tactical lever around.
