Earmor
The comms version of the M31: same NRR 22 dB gel-cushion muff plus a detachable boom microphone and a Nexus TP-120 downlead for two-way radio push-to-talk. NRR 22 dB, four-hour auto shut-off, IPX-5.
The Earmor M32 PLUS is the M31 with communications hardware bolted on. You get the same NRR 22 dB gel-cushion muff and the same electronic ambient amplification, plus a detachable dynamic boom microphone and a Nexus TP-120 downlead that plugs the headset into a two-way radio for push-to-talk. At $99.99 it is the cheapest way to get a radio-capable electronic headset that shares an ergonomic family with the $500-plus Peltor ComTac.
The audio side matches the M31: impulse noise above 82 dB is compressed in under 0.1 seconds, and the muff keeps full passive NRR 22 with the electronics off. The comms side uses the NATO-standard Nexus wiring most tactical radios and PTT adapters expect, so it drops into an existing radio setup without a proprietary connector. A four-hour auto shut-off protects the two AAA batteries, and the IPX-5 shell handles weather.
Buy the M32 over the M31 only if you actually run a radio. For pure range and hunting use the boom microphone and downlead are dead weight, and the M31 does the same hearing-protection job for thirty dollars less.
