The Shield Plus Performance Center OR uses the Shield RMSc footprint. This is the compact micro-optic cut shared with the SIG P365 XL, Glock 43X MOS, and Springfield Hellcat OSP. Holosun K/RMSc direct fit depends on the exact slide cut and recoil-lug pattern; RMRcc requires its own adapter plate. Apex Tactical is the dominant aftermarket name in M&P triggers and functionally owns the segment. The Forward Set Sear and Trigger (FSS) kit is the gold standard for the M&P 2.0 line and comes in polymer ($110) and aluminum ($180) shoe versions. Best M&P Night Sights

The factory M&P steel three-dot sights are acceptable but thick. A narrow tritium front post improves front-sight precision at 15+ yards, and tritium rear vials add low-light visibility without forcing a photoluminescent front outline. The Trijicon HD XR is the premium pick and drops into the M&P 9/40 and M&P 2.0 dovetails without gunsmithing. Best M&P 2.0 Weapon Lights

This section applies to the M&P 2.0 Compact and M&P 2.0 5" only. The Shield Plus has no accessory rail and will not mount a weapon light. The M&P 2.0 Picatinny rail accepts every compact-class pistol light on the market, but the TLR-7 family is the de facto default because it has the widest holster support.
