Princeton Tec Switch RGB Helmet Light, RGB Bulb, 10 Lumens, Black, SWITCH-RGB-BK
The Princeton Tec Switch RGB MPLS is the lower-profile, lower-output cousin of the Charge Pro. Output is 10 lumens versus the Charge Pro's 55, but listed weight drops to 17 g and the current RGB model adds programmable light patterns. For pure admin work, gear checks, and short map reads, 10 lumens is enough; for sustained map work or brighter task lighting, the Charge Pro is the better tool.
The Switch uses the same MPLS concept as the Charge Pro: a flexible arm that lets you point the light where you need it, then tuck it away out of the field of view. Current Switch RGB options include either an IR LED plus tri-color RGB LED or a white LED plus tri-color RGB LED, depending on the pattern you choose.
Pick the Switch over the Charge Pro when (a) you want the lowest-profile helmet light available, (b) every ounce on the helmet matters, or (c) you only need admin lighting and the brighter output of the Charge Pro is overkill. Otherwise, the Charge Pro is the more common pick.
