Overview

The S&S Precision V-Lite is a compact personal IFF marker beacon. It is the small hook-and-loop-mounted marker you see on the rear of professional helmets at night, used to identify team members and sub-teams in low-light conditions. The Multi-Mode model uses one selected color, including visible and IR options, with programmable steady, strobe, and output-level behavior.

Modes include steady-on, strobe, combined on/strobe cycling, and output-level programming. The unit attaches via velcro hook to any helmet rear velcro panel, kit panel, or arm plate. Weight is 0.8 oz (23 g) including the battery, and the housing is sealed for moisture resistance.

The V-Lite is ITAR-controlled and ships only within the United States. For unit-team coordination and personal identification under NVGs, this is a foundational low-profile marker. For a brighter signaling tool with longer range, the S&S Manta Strobe ($229.95) is the upgrade path.
