ProTac 2L-X USB

The Streamlight ProTac 2L-X USB is the compact sibling of the HL-X, tuned for pocket EDC rather than duty. 500 lumens runs on the rechargeable SL-B26 battery pack or on two CR123A cells, the same dual-fuel flexibility that makes the HL-X a buy-once light. At 3.9 oz with CR123A cells or 4.4 oz with the SL-B26, it disappears in a pocket.

Three selectable programs, high-strobe-low, high-only, or low-high, handle almost any preference without the menu complexity of imported lights. The beam throws 165 meters on high and 49 meters on low, more than enough for EDC and residential defense.

Buy this light if the HL-X feels too bulky or if your use case is mostly pocket carry with occasional duty backup. Skip it if you want the full 1,300 lumens or you plan to use the light for vehicle-stop distances.
