KNS Precision .154 Non-Rotating Trigger/Hammer Pins

KNS Precision's NRTHP-154 non-rotating pin set is the real product behind the generic anti-walk-pin idea. The kit replaces standard AR-15 trigger and hammer pins with .154-inch CNC-machined pins, external side links, and locking screws that keep the pins from rotating or walking in the lower receiver.

They are most useful with cassette/drop-in triggers that do not retain pins the same way a traditional hammer spring and J-spring setup does, and with worn receivers where pin-hole wear is already a concern. KNS also offers oversized and large-pin variants, so the .154-inch NRTHP-154 row should stay separate from .155, .1555, .170, Gen 2 Mod 2, and Geissele-specific variants.

Do not treat anti-rotation pins as a universal upgrade. Many conventional AR triggers are designed around normal rotating pins, and the better recommendation for a standard mil-spec fire-control group is usually fresh in-spec pins and springs. Use KNS pins when the trigger maker calls for retained pins, when a cassette trigger needs them, or when the lower has a documented pin-walk problem.
