Magpul M-LOK Rail Covers Type 2 Half Slot solve the small gaps left by a real handguard layout. Once a light mount, hand stop, sling mount, and full-slot Type 2 panels are installed, odd half-slot spaces remain. These panels fill those gaps with the same low-profile TSP-textured surface as the full-size Type 2 covers.
They are a finishing part rather than a major upgrade. Use them to keep a rail surface consistent around other accessories, especially on aluminum M-LOK handguards that already run Type 2 covers.
