RISE Armament Enhanced Takedown & Pivot Pins

The RISE Armament Enhanced Takedown & Pivot Pins focus on the part of takedown that most pins ignore: getting the pin started with cold or gloved hands. RISE machines a concave, contoured face into both pins so a fingertip or thumb seats into the dish and pushes the pin through without slipping, regardless of hand size or glove thickness. There is no extended head to snag on gear; the upgrade is entirely in the face geometry.

Material is 316 stainless steel, a more corrosion-resistant grade than the carbon steel of mil-spec pins, finished in black nitride for hardness and a uniform matte look. They drop into standard forged AR-15 lowers using the factory detents and springs.

Choose these when you want a clean, snag-free profile and better corrosion resistance than plain steel, and you value a positive push surface over a long protruding head. They cost more than the Strike Industries set but use a better steel and a more deliberate face design.
