The PSA Sabre-IC Ambi Receiver Set is a matched forged upper and lower built for 6mm ARC and .338 ARC, machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Cerakote so the two receivers tone together. It carries the same three Sabre upgrades as the AR-15 Sabre Enhanced set, a pre-installed ambidextrous bolt catch and release, a threaded set screw in place of the bolt-catch roll pin, and a flared magwell with an integral trigger guard, but on a magwell cut for the ICAR pattern instead of standard AR-15 magazines. It launched June 12, 2026 in six finishes: Champagne, FDE, Burnt Bronze, Black, Moss Green, and Blue Titanium.
The defining constraint is the magazine. The Sabre-IC runs the Magpul PMAG 25 ICAR GEN M3 and nothing else, a 25-round polymer magazine built around the SureFire ICAR and LWRCI Six8 magwell pattern and optimized for 6mm ARC and .338 ARC. A standard AR-15 magazine will not seat in this lower, and the ICAR magazine will not run in a standard AR-15 lower, so the receiver set and the magazine are a closed system. Budget for ICAR magazines as part of the build cost.
Everything north of the magwell stays familiar. The upper carries engraved T-marks and a thermal-fit barrel extension, and the lower takes mil-spec triggers, safeties, pins, grips, and charging handles. Use PSA's chamber-specific bolt and barrel instructions for the chosen 6mm ARC or .338 ARC configuration.
