Radian AX556 Ambidextrous Lower Receiver

The Radian AX556 represents the pinnacle of AR-15 lower receiver design, machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with fully integrated ambidextrous controls. Beyond the standard ambidextrous safety selector, left-side magazine release, and right-side bolt release, the AX556 features Radian's patented A-DAC (Ambidextrous Dual Action Catch) system.

The A-DAC allows right-handed shooters to lock the bolt to the rear without taking their hand off fire control—a significant advantage during reloads and malfunction clearances. This is accomplished through a lever that can be activated by the trigger finger while maintaining grip on the pistol grip. For left-handed shooters, the right-side bolt catch provides equally intuitive operation.
