Overview
The Magpul PMAG 17 GL9 is a full-size alternative to factory Glock magazines, matching the 17-round capacity of OEM G17 magazines at a lower street price. It is a common value pick for training, range bags, and PCC use.
The magazine body uses Magpul's proprietary polymer blend, designed to resist impact damage and maintain function in temperature extremes. Inside, the constant-curve feed path and four-way anti-tilt follower eliminate the feeding issues that plague inferior aftermarket magazines. The steel spring is precisely calibrated to provide consistent round presentation from first to last.
For Glock owners seeking affordable spare magazines, the PMAG 17 GL9 is a practical choice for a full-size G17, G34 competition pistol, or Glock-compatible PCC. As with any non-OEM magazine, test it in the specific pistol and magwell before relying on it for defensive use.
