Ruger LCP Max .380 ACP Pistol Magazine, 12 Round, Blued, 1 Pack, Steel, 90734-12RD
The Ruger 90734 is the factory 12-round extended magazine for the LCP MAX, and it is the most useful spare magazine an LCP MAX owner can buy. The flush 10-round magazine is the right answer for deep concealment and pocket carry, but the 12-round mag adds two rounds of capacity and a molded polymer base extension that finally gives the shooter a full pinky rest on the gun. Most LCP MAX carriers run a 10-round mag in the gun and a 12-round mag as the spare for the same reason.
The magazine is a blued steel body with a polymer follower and high-tensile spring, identical construction to the factory 10-round mag with a longer tube. Numbered witness holes on the rear of the body let the shooter verify round count. The base extension is molded in, not a screw-on accessory, so it cannot rattle or shift loose. Drops free clean, even with the slide closed and the gun pointed muzzle-down.
Compatibility is strict: 90734 fits the Ruger LCP MAX only. It will NOT chamber in the original LCP or the LCP II, both of which use single-stack 6+1 magazines with different feed lip geometry. Note that ten-round magazine restrictions apply in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Washington, the District of Columbia, and Boulder Colorado. Buyers in those jurisdictions cannot order this magazine and should stick with flush 10-round mags.
