The Ruger RXM COA Edition combines the modular, feature-rich RXM platform with Aimpoint's premium COA red dot sight, eliminating the need for aftermarket slide milling or adapter plates.

This exclusive arrangement means the package is only available through Lipsey's dealer network, not directly from Ruger's standard distribution channels. For shooters seeking a premium red dot pistol without the complexity of separate purchases and gunsmithing, the RXM COA Edition delivers a turnkey solution with factory warranty coverage on both the pistol and optic.

The RXM (Ruger X-Modular) is Ruger's entry into the modular striker-fired pistol market, designed to compete directly with the SIG P320 and Glock platforms. At its core is a serialized stainless steel Fire Control Insert (FCI) that houses the trigger mechanism and serves as the legally regulated firearm component. This allows the serialized chassis to transfer between different grip modules, slide lengths, and configurations.

The RXM features a 4-inch FNC nitride barrel with a 1:10 twist rate, housed in a 7.15-inch overall length package weighing 23.2 ounces unloaded. The slide comes optics-ready from the factory with an RMR/DPP/RMSc compatible footprint, allowing direct mounting of most popular pistol red dots. The COA Edition takes advantage of this with the A-CUT interface machined directly into the slide.

One of the RXM's standout features is its Glock 19 pattern magazine compatibility. Unlike proprietary magazine systems that lock you into a single ecosystem, the RXM accepts standard Glock 19 magazines and the vast aftermarket of extensions, basepads, and accessories built around that pattern. The A-CUT mounting system represents a paradigm shift in pistol optic attachment. Traditional mounting relies on screws threading into the slide, which can loosen under the G-forces of recoil cycling. The A-CUT instead uses a full-length dovetail machined into the slide with a front hook that engages a slide protrusion and a rear wedge that locks the optic in place.
