Holosun HM6X 6x Magnifier

The Holosun HM6X is a 6x magnifier built to extend the effective range of red dot and holographic sights well beyond what 3x magnifiers can deliver. The 6x optical system pulls targets at 500-700 yards into clear identification range, transforming a basic dot-equipped carbine into a capable mid-range platform without committing to a dedicated LPVO. Compared to the EOTech G45 (5x, $699), the HM6X offers more magnification at roughly half the price.

The flip-to-side ambidextrous QD mount allows instant transitions between magnified precision and unmagnified speed, a critical capability for shooters running general-purpose carbines that may need to engage anywhere from 10 to 600 yards. The included spacer accommodates both absolute and lower 1/3 co-witness optic heights, ensuring proper alignment with the user's primary red dot regardless of mounting standard.

Construction is hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum with IP67 water and dust resistance and nitrogen purging to prevent fogging in changing environmental conditions. The ±3 diopter adjustment lets shooters fine-tune focus for individual eyesight, while integrated windage and elevation adjustments allow precise alignment with the primary optic. At 11.0 oz, the HM6X is heavier than typical 3x magnifiers but still meaningfully lighter than running an LPVO with a dedicated mount.
