The KDG SIDELOK 34mm mount is the large-tube version of the company's one-piece quick-detach scope base. Pressing the forward release opens the camming clamp without a wrench, throw lever, or external tension knob, and a secondary safety guards against unintended release. KDG states the mount returns to zero when reinstalled in the same rail position.
The 34mm rings suit the larger tube diameters used by long-range and higher-magnification variable scopes, where 30mm rings will not clamp. The base measures 5.98 inches long and 2.33 inches tall, matching the 30mm model's footprint on the rail, and wears a black Type III hardcoat anodized finish.
