Norotos RHNO II Helmet Mount, PVS-15/18/21/31, Dovetail, Black, One Size, 1950010-D
The Norotos RHNO II Dovetail is the budget reliable NVG mount for dovetail-interface devices. It is a current-production lowering arm for MICH/ACH-style helmets with USGI 3-hole shrouds, and it keeps the basic Norotos adjustment set without stepping up to a premium TATM or Wilcox G24.
The dovetail RHNO II-D variant fits PVS-15/18/21/31-style dovetail devices and compatible dovetail adapters. Older bayonet/horn Rhino variants are a separate purchase path. The RHNO II mounts to USGI 3-hole shrouds (the standard interface on ACH/MICH/PASGT) and through adapters can mount to VAS shrouds on FAST/EXFIL/Caiman helmets, though VAS-shroud users are usually better served by the Wilcox G24 or Norotos TATM purpose-built for that interface.
The Rhino II is not breakaway. Under heavy impact it loads the dovetail interface and the user's neck more than a Wilcox G24 would. For training, range use, and casual NVG mounting where the threat model is comfort and reliability rather than dynamic combat, the Rhino II is the cheapest path to a working setup. For serious tactical use where the cost of a destroyed PVS-14 or a neck injury outweighs the price delta, upgrade to the G24.
