Primary Arms
Fixed Aimpoint Micro mount at a 2.26" optical centerline, the cheapest route to a true heads-up night vision height.
+12 more
The 2.26 inch optical centerline is the height that makes passive aiming under night vision work, and until recently the only way to get there was a Unity FAST Micro at $186. The Primary Arms SLx Microdot Mount puts the same height on the rail for a fraction of that. It is a fixed mount, the optic bolts directly to it using the Aimpoint Micro footprint, and it is built from 6061-T6 aluminum with steel hardware and steel recoil lugs.
Despite being sold at several retailers as a "riser mount," this is not a riser. It does not have a Picatinny rail on top and it will not raise an optic that already has its own mount. The dot bolts into it directly, which is what makes it a mount rather than a spacer or riser.
What you give up against the Unity is the integrated backup iron sights, the FAST QD lever option, and the 7075 body. What you keep is the height, which is the part that actually changes how the rifle shoots under nods or behind a plate carrier.
