Overview

The Micro Carry Comp Special is the thin-barrel version of Griffin's miniature 17-4 stainless comp. Griffin lists Glock 43, 43X, 42, and 48, the SIG P365 and P365XL, and the Springfield Hellcat among its micro-compact hosts. The P365 XMACRO, P365X, and Hellcat Pro are not on that list.

Unlike the standard version, the Special indexes on the face of the muzzle rather than the barrel shoulder. Wrench flats are torqued to 8 foot-pounds, with no set screws or separate timing step.
