Overview
The Dorin DT-CAOS gives a true FN Five-seveN Mk2 a removable optic-mounting system while leaving the factory rear sight in place. The base system includes a cover plate, and interchangeable optic plates support standard RMR-pattern optics, Burris FastFire and Docter-pattern optics, DeltaPoint Pro, Shield RMS/RMSc, Holosun 507K/EPS, and Trijicon RMRcc footprints. No permanent modification to the pistol is required.
Fitment stops at the Mk2. Dorin identifies that model by the charging serrations on the front of its factory slide cover and excludes the smooth-front Original, Tactical, IOM, and USG models as well as the later MRD/Mk3. The factory sights do not co-witness through the optic, and a small number of wider factory slides may need minor fitting because of production tolerances.
