Cyelee CAT EDG

The Cyelee CAT EDG is the slim-slide answer to the Wolf EDG: the same sealed, gas-filled construction shrunk onto the RMSc cut that P365, Hellcat OSP, and Glock 43X/48 MOS slides already carry. At roughly one ounce it adds very little to a carry slide, and the 23x16 mm window is respectable for a housing this small.

Closing the emitter is the whole argument for this optic on a carry pistol. An open-emitter micro riding inside a waistband collects lint, sweat, and sunscreen in exactly the channel the LED shines through, and a blocked emitter means no dot at the worst possible moment. The CAT EDG seals that path, then adds a gas fill so the internals do not fog when the pistol comes from a cold car into a warm room. Cyelee rates it IPX7 and drop-proof from six feet, optic-down onto concrete with a full-size pistol.

Running costs and reticle choice are where it gives ground. The side-loading CR1620 is rated up to 50,000 hours with Motion Deactivated Standby, but it is a small cell, and the optic ships with a single 3 MOA red dot with no multi-reticle or green option. Adjustments move in 1 MOA clicks, and no mount or plate is included. At $279.99 it is priced against established enclosed carry optics rather than undercutting them.
