Crye Precision
Crye's dedicated rifle-mag front flap. Three integrated M4 mag pouches on the detachable flap interface shared by the AVS, JPC 2.0, and AirLite SPC.
The M4 Detachable Flap is the configured counterpart to the MOLLE flap: three M4 magazine pouches built directly into the flap face, so mounting it puts a full rifle reload spread on the front of the carrier in one step. This is the flap that turns a slick JPC 2.0 into the classic assaulter configuration.
Crye's spec sheet lists attachment to the front platebag of the AVS in Standard and MBAV configurations, and the flap interface is shared by the JPC 2.0 and AirLite SPC. Swapping between this and the MOLLE flap takes seconds, which is the entire argument for the detachable flap system over sewn-in pouching like the JPC 1.0 carries.
For mixed loadouts, the choice against the MOLLE flap comes down to commitment: this flap does one thing with zero additional purchases, while the MOLLE flap does anything but arrives empty.
Add the AVS Detachable Flap, M4 to your build and see how it enhances your platform.
