Crye Precision
Crye's heaviest hard-armor carrier. Built-in 2-band cummerbund accepting IIIA soft armor and 6x6 side plates, releasable construction, and integrated front flap with M4 mag retention.
The Crye CPC is what users buy when they have outgrown the JPC and want releasable construction in one box. The set ships with the carrier, an integrated 2-band cummerbund (which accepts both IIIA soft armor inserts and 6x6 side plates), and an integrated front flap with M4 magazine retention already built in. A single pull releases both shoulder straps and the cummerbund — the only Crye carrier that does this without an aftermarket releasable kit.
The CPC's front flap is a known clone-build reference point. It doubles as a 3-mag M4 placard, and it accepts StKSS-style mounting for additional accessories. Buyers who want a JPC-pattern carrier but with releasable construction and a non-removable flap land here.
Plate sizing is more flexible than the JPC. Size S takes plates from 6x6 up to 6x10.5; M, L, and XL go up to 6x11.5. The cummerbund-integrated side plate pockets handle 6x6 ESAPI side plates, which removes one of the AVS's a la carte expenses.
At $854 the CPC sits well above the JPC and inside the AVS's price band without the AVS's modular flap ecosystem. The Stretch Side Plate Pouch is the most common upgrade buyers add. Sold direct through Crye and via OpTactical.
