CZ P-09

The CZ P-09 is the full-size counterpart to the P-07, sharing CZ's Omega trigger system in a larger frame with 19+1 capacity. The Omega trigger is DA/SA with a unique feature: the decocker and manual safety are swappable, and CZ includes both in the box. Prefer carrying cocked-and-locked? Install the safety. Prefer decocker-only operation? Swap it in. No other production pistol offers this flexibility.

The single-action pull on the Omega system breaks at approximately 4.5 pounds with a crisp wall and clean break. Double-action runs around 10 pounds but is smooth and stackable. The trigger geometry has been refined over multiple generations, and the current P-09 is a significant improvement over earlier CZ 75-based DA/SA triggers.

At $529, the P-09 undercuts every other full-size 9mm on this list while offering the highest capacity. The polymer frame keeps weight manageable at 28.8 ounces, and the low bore axis characteristic of CZ pistols helps manage recoil during rapid fire. A full-length Picatinny rail accommodates full-size weapon lights. The suppressor-ready SR variant adds a threaded barrel and tall sights for an additional $50.
