CZ DUTY 4" Compact

The CZ DUTY 4" Compact is a 9mm, 4-inch striker-fired pistol built around a serialized steel chassis that holds the functional fire-control components. The chassis accepts three swappable grip modules, S, M, and L, with different palm swell and trigger reach dimensions. The fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame and grip modules have no backstraps. The launch lineup includes the standard 4.0 C and the 4.0 C MS, where MS adds an ambidextrous manual safety.

The Compact carries 15+1 rounds flush, or 17 rounds with a magazine that uses a sleeved basepad. Ten-round restricted-state variants are also available, and CZ DUTY magazines come in 15- and 17-round capacities. Overall length is 7.4 inches, height is 5.31 inches, empty weight is 27.2 ounces, and the measured trigger averaged 5.1 pounds across ten pulls. CZ says the patented striker-fired trigger system uses a three-stage drop safety, trigger safety, and out-of-battery safety. Disassembly does not require pulling the trigger or using tools.

The optics-ready slide mounts Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K, and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprints directly with the included pin set, without an adapter plate. Aimpoint ACRO and Holosun HE509T require aftermarket adapter plates. The pistol also has a fully ambidextrous slide release and magazine release, an accessory rail, and luminescent or tritium three-dot sights set for lower-third co-witness with a red dot. CZ's launch durability target is 50,000 rounds, or 25,000 rounds of overpressure DM51 ammunition, with 10,000 rounds before a parts change, tested to NATO STANAG AC/225 methodology and factory zeroed at 25 yards. The barrel is cold hammer-forged, covered by CZ's lifetime barrel warranty, and finished with CZ's patented in-house nitride process.
