HK VP9A1 F

The HK VP9A1 F is Heckler & Koch's January 2025 refresh of the original VP9, and it keeps the best factory striker trigger in class while fixing the three things VP9 owners have asked for since 2014: a factory flared magwell, a broader optic-plate system, and a smoother trigger pull. The nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar (previously exclusive to the German-market SFP9M) is now standard on the A1 and noticeably slicker than the original VP9 break. HK also removed the finger grooves from the front strap and added serrated trigger index pads on the frame.

The optic system is the headline. The VP9A1 F ships optics-ready with nine factory adapter plates that cover the Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C, 509T, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Shield RMSc, Docter, Vortex Venom, and more. A Holosun SCS variant is also available with the factory optic pre-installed. Factory suppressor-compatible night sights come standard, and the 4.53-inch cold-hammer-forged polygonal barrel is longer than the original VP9's 4.09-inch tube, which buys a longer sight radius and a slightly higher velocity floor.

Grip geometry is the most customizable on the market: three backstraps and six side panels combine for 54 grip configurations, up from 27 on the original VP9. The full-length Picatinny rail, ambidextrous paddle mag release, and ambidextrous slide stop carry over. With night sights standard, factory optic plates in the box, and a factory magwell, the VP9A1 F is the rare optic-ready 9mm that leaves the factory needing only a red dot to be match or duty ready.
