Marlin 1895 Guide Gun .45-70 Government 19.1" 6rd Lever Action Rifle, Brown Laminate - 70456
The Ruger-built Marlin 1895 Guide Gun keeps the .45-70 platform in a traditional field configuration. Its 19.1-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel, brown laminate stock, blued alloy-steel receiver, and semi-buckhorn sights look and handle like a classic hunting lever. The six-round tubular magazine loads through a side gate and gives one more round than most short .45-70 carbines.
The muzzle is threaded 11/16x24 and ships with a thread protector, so a compatible brake or suppressor mount does not require barrel work. The receiver is drilled and tapped for an optional optic base, but no factory rail is included. Choose the Guide Gun when weather-stable laminate, full tube capacity, and conventional lever-gun furniture matter more than factory accessory slots.
