Rost Martin
The compensated model of Rost Martin's RM1X series, announced September 2, 2026. It adds an integrated compensator venting through a port in the top of the slide to the RM1CX's full-size grip and compact slide, and keeps the base gun's 17-round flush and 19-round extended magazine pair. The muzzle is not threaded; the Tactical is the threaded model.

The Rost Martin RM1CX Comp is the compensated model in the RM1X series. It shares the line's architecture, a compact slide over the full-size RM1F grip at 5.1 inches tall and 1.2 inches wide, and adds an integrated compensator that vents through a scalloped port cut into the top of the slide ahead of the front sight. The base RM1CX slide is solid in that spot.
A compensator and a threaded barrel answer opposite questions, which is the choice this model forces. Venting gas upward holds the muzzle down between shots and makes the gun flatter to shoot fast, which is a range, class, and competition benefit. It also means the muzzle is committed: the Comp is not threaded, so a suppressor is not on the table for this model. Buyers who want the can rather than the flat recoil should take the RM1CX Tactical instead.
Everything else matches the base gun. The magazine pair is the same 17-round flush and 19-round extended set, the slide is nitrocarburized steel and optics ready with an RMR-footprint plate included, the trigger is Rost Martin's 5 lb Double Action Striker, the controls are fully ambidextrous, and the dust cover carries a multi-slot accessory rail.
