The ADX Barreled Action is how TANDEMKROSS sells its ADX receiver for a custom build: the serialized receiver arrives with the proprietary left-side charging handle assembly and removable back cap installed, a barrel retaining V-block with two ADX V-block screws, and a TANDEMKROSS lightweight barrel already mounted. The left-side handle charges with the support hand and locks the bolt open when lifted into its catch; a slap drops it. The receiver also takes standard right-side 10/22 charging handles for anyone who prefers a conventional layout, and the rear cap lets the bolt and charging handle slide out the back for cleaning.
Two barrels are offered. The 16.5 inch Spitfire and the 10.2 inch Comet are both tensioned stainless barrels inside M-LOK-cut aluminum sleeves, twisted 1:16 and threaded 1/2x28 for a suppressor or compensator, and each comes with a black or stainless barrel finish. The assembly weighs 1 lb 6 oz with the 16.5 inch barrel and 1 lb 3 oz with the 10.2 inch barrel, and measures 22 or 15.5 inches long. The 10.2 inch configuration is for a pistol build or a short-barreled rifle; putting a shoulder stock on it makes an SBR under federal law.
The bolt, trigger assembly, and stock are separate. TANDEMKROSS points builders at the KrossFire bolt or another bolt of choice, a Manticore or Manticore LITE trigger assembly, and any stock or chassis cut for a .920 bull barrel. The ADX receiver supports standard fixed barrels and replaces the aftermarket bolt buffer with its rear cap, and TANDEMKROSS does not guarantee third-party bolts, trigger groups, magazines, or stocks. The receiver is the serialized part, so the assembly transfers through an FFL.
