Hogue Tamer Pistol Grip (Remington 870)

The Hogue Tamer for Remington 870 is the same cushioned rubber over-mold design as the Mossberg version, fitted to the Remington 870 receiver pattern. On a TAC-14 with no stock, the rubber construction absorbs the recoil energy that the factory hard polymer grip transmits into the palm and wrist.

The cobblestone texture with molded finger grooves provides positive grip in wet conditions, and installation is a drop-in swap requiring only removal of the factory grip bolt. The Tamer is a standard pistol grip shape rather than a bird's head, so TAC-14 owners switching from the factory grip will get a different wrist angle.
