Overview

The Strike Industries Polymer FSA Stab is the brace variant of the polymer FSA folding stock and the cheapest universal 1913 brace shipping at acceptable build quality. The chassis, hinge, mount, and ambidextrous fold all match the polymer stock; the only change is a soft brace cuff in place of the rifle buttplate, which keeps the assembly pistol-legal.

Construction is all-polymer body with a steel hinge pin. The hinge is ambidextrous, so the fold direction can be configured at install. Total weight is approximately 9 ounces, the lightest 1913 brace currently shipping. The mount accepts any 1913 Picatinny rear interface: Sig MPX/MCX, Stribog with factory 1913 adapter, Scorpion with HBI 1913 adapter, Springfield Kuna, B&T APC9 and GHM9, AR pistols with 1913 endplates.

Trade-offs are the same as the polymer stock: more flex under cheek pressure than the FS1913A or FS1913, less rigid lockup, and a polymer cuff that is not as durable as the SB Tactical or A3 alternatives. For a budget pistol build or a range gun this is the right pick. For a duty host, the FS1913A aluminum strut is the upgrade target.
