Overview

The Panzer Arms ARP9 is the cheapest way into a 9mm PCC that does not lock you into a proprietary parts ecosystem. The Turkish-made pistol runs standard Glock magazines, accepts any AR-15 mil-spec fire control group, takes AR-pattern grips, and presents a 1913 Picatinny rear end plate that mounts any universal brace or stock. At a street price near $470, it undercuts the CZ Scorpion and Stribog by a wide margin while using parts you likely already own.

Construction is conventional blowback with a 7075 hardened aluminum upper and lower and a 4140 carbon steel barrel. The 6.5-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 behind a tri-lug, so a flash hider, brake, or 9mm suppressor mounts without gunsmithing. A full-length Picatinny top rail runs the receiver and handguard for optics and irons, the M-LOK handguard handles lights and grips, and the controls are fully ambidextrous: safety, magazine release, and bolt release all work from either side. Panzer ships the ARP9 with both a 15-round and a 33-round Glock-pattern magazine plus adjustable flip-up front and rear sights.

The tradeoffs are what you expect at this price. Simple blowback puts more felt recoil and bolt mass into the gun than a roller-delayed or hydraulic-buffered design, the Turkish import has a thinner long-term reliability record than a CZ or SIG, and the non-reciprocating charging handle and trigger are functional rather than refined. For a Glock-mag truck gun, a suppressor host, or a first PCC where you want to spend the budget on optics and ammo instead of the host, the ARP9 is the value play in the segment.
