Bersa B22 Suppressor

The B22 is the rimfire can in Bersa's 2026 WhisperTech line, and its selling point is that it is two suppressors in one tube. Run it full-size at 5.8 inches and 6.4 oz when quiet matters, or pull the front section and run 3.41 inches at 4.5 oz when you want a .22 pistol that still holsters and points like a pistol. Reconfiguring is tool-free, and the can is user-serviceable, which matters more on rimfire than anywhere else because .22 LR fouls a suppressor faster than any centerfire round.

Construction is 6AL-4V titanium and 17-4 stainless steel under a high-temperature Cerakote finish, threaded 1/2x28 direct with no adapter. Bersa rates it for .22 LR, .22 Mag, .17 HMR, .17 WSM, and 5.7x28, and lists it as full-auto rated with .22 LR. That 5.7x28 rating is the useful outlier, and most dedicated rimfire cans will not touch the cartridge. The 1/2x28 hosts it reaches directly are the threaded S&W M&P 5.7 and the threaded PSA 5.7 Rock. A Ruger-57 needs Ruger's drop-in threaded-barrel kit, an FN Five-seveN ships unthreaded and needs an aftermarket M10x1.0 barrel plus an M10x1-to-1/2x28 adapter, and a PS90 presents no exposed 1/2x28 at all.

Bersa claims approximately 42 dB of reduction, or roughly 114 dB, in the full configuration, and attributes its internal layout to what it calls the patented Couvillion method, which separates solids from suspension and lets gases flow through rather than following the traditional Maxim baffle approach. Treat both as manufacturer claims: no PEW Science or comparable independent rating has been published for any of the four 2026 WhisperTech cans.
