Bersa
5.825-inch, 15.2 oz Inconel 718 and stainless 5.56 can with 1/2x28 direct thread and a HUB 1.375x24 rear.
The B556 is the 5.56 can in Bersa's 2026 WhisperTech line, and the detail worth knowing is the bore. Bersa runs oversized baffles and an oversized end cap sized to 6mm, which is why the rating sheet stretches past 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington into 6mm ARC, .243 Winchester, 6mm PRC, and 6mm Creedmoor. One stamp covers a 5.56 carbine and a 6mm bolt gun without a second can.
Construction is Inconel 718 with 17-4 stainless steel under black Cerakote, which is the heat-tolerant end of the material spectrum rather than the lightweight end; the tradeoff shows up as 15.2 oz across a 5.825-inch body. Bersa lists it as full-auto rated. The mount is 1/2x28 direct thread with a HUB 1.375x24 rear, so the industry-standard mount ecosystem is available if you outgrow direct thread.
Bersa claims 32 dB of reduction, approximately 132 dB SPL, and credits what it calls the patented Couvillion method, which separates solids from suspension and lets gases flow through instead of following the traditional Maxim baffle approach. Bersa also claims minimal point-of-impact shift, reduced muzzle flip, and minimal breech blowback. All of that is manufacturer language: no PEW Science or comparable independent rating has been published for any of the four 2026 WhisperTech cans. The suppressor is tool-free and user-serviceable, and it carries the Bersa USA Limited Lifetime Warranty.
