Overview
The AGM Rattler V2 25-256 is the budget benchmark for a dedicated thermal riflescope, landing under $1,100 with a 256x192 12um sensor, 35mK sensitivity, and a 50Hz refresh that scans without the lag of older 25Hz cores. The 25mm lens and 3.5x base magnification suit predator hunting inside a few hundred yards, with a rated 1250-yard detection range for spotting heat signatures in open country. A rechargeable NE-4400 battery runs up to 11.5 hours, and the V2 adds shot-activated recording and ten reticle options with per-rifle zero profiles.
