Smart DryFireMag IR Laser Training System (Glock Double Stack 9mm)

This is the same trigger-reset magazine as the red Smart system with one substitution that changes who should buy it: the cartridge emits infrared instead of visible red. An invisible laser leaves nothing on paper, so this version does not work as a standalone kit. DryFireMag states the requirement plainly on the listing, and it is worth repeating before you order: an electronic target or simulator that reads IR is mandatory, not optional. What you get in exchange is training that forces you to use your sights. With a visible dot, peripheral vision does some of the work and it is easy to chase the laser rather than the front sight. Strip the dot out and the only feedback is what the target reports after the shot, which is much closer to live fire. That is why the IR configuration is the one competitive and professional shooters tend to run.

Everything mechanical carries over. The magazine resets the trigger without racking the slide, it simulates the 5.5 to 6 pound factory Glock pull, the optional spring kit adjusts weight, and the blaze-orange base plate keeps it unmistakable next to live magazines. Fitment is Glock double-stack 9mm, with caliber adapter rings available for .40, .357 SIG, and .45 G.A.P. Note the bundle is slightly leaner than the red kit: the three reflective targets ship only with the red option, since reflective paper is useless to an invisible laser.
