Mantis BlackbeardX AR-15 Training System

The Mantis BlackbeardX AR-15 configuration replaces the rifle's bolt carrier group with a dry-fire reset unit and supplies power through an AR-form magazine. It uses the rifle's existing fire-control group and resets the trigger after each press at a rate of up to ten resets per second, removing the charging-handle cycle that normally interrupts AR dry-fire strings.

BlackbeardX adds an integrated Mantis motion sensor to the powered magazine. The connected app evaluates muzzle movement and reports timing, overtravel, and target-transition data after each press. The optional visible or infrared laser variants add a point-of-aim signal, while the no-laser version retains trigger reset and analytics at the lowest price.

The AR-15 kit does not cross-fit other hosts. Mantis sells separate BlackbeardX systems for the AR-10, SIG MCX, FN SCAR, and M7, and their bolt carriers and magazines are not interchangeable with the AR-15 version. The AR-15 line runs from MT-6001 without a laser through red, green, and infrared variants MT-6002 to MT-6004.
