The Dorin billet aluminum trigger replaces the factory PS90 polymer trigger shoe with a CNC-machined 6000-series aluminum unit. The factory shoe is functional but has the soft polymer feel PS90 owners often notice during longer range sessions. The Dorin replacement adds a more rigid metal contact surface without changing the underlying fire-control group operation or performance.
This is a shoe-only upgrade, not a full trigger pack swap. The factory PS90 fire control group remains in place; the Dorin part replaces only the trigger contact surface and requires the factory trigger stop to be transferred. Dorin and FN Specialties describe the install as a short drop-in job with no permanent modification.
For PS90 owners who want a more dramatic trigger upgrade, Dorin's XPRT90 forced-reset trigger system is the premium alternative at $450.
