EP Armory
Budget roller-and-spring reset-assist device for the KRISS Vector, the cheapest way to add reset assistance to the platform.
+12 more
The EP Armory BRRRT is the budget entry in the KRISS Vector reset-assist field, and its mechanism is refreshingly simple. A roller installs on the trigger reset spring, and the Vector's bolt cycle pushes the trigger forward against that roller to reset it faster. The gun stays semi-automatic: one round per trigger pull, every time. At under $30 it is the cheapest way to add reset assistance to a Vector.
The simplicity comes with setup work. EP Armory calls for a 150-round break-in and polishing the bolt lugs to a shiny finish before the device runs consistently, along with a thorough cleaning. Installation seats the roller on the reset spring and uses an adjustment screw set to leave roughly one-sixteenth of an inch of forward travel. Gen1 Vectors take extra steps: removing the top rail by pulling the front roll pin and an Allen screw, and possibly an upgraded fire control group. Proper lubrication is required throughout.
Fitment covers Gen1, Gen2, and Gen3 Vectors across 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm, and .45 ACP. The roller is a wear item and will need replacement over the life of the device, which is the tradeoff for the low price. Forced-reset trigger legality is state-specific and evolving; confirm current federal, state, and local law before ordering.
