Extar Flat Nickel Teflon Steel FCG

The Extar Flat Nickel Teflon Steel FCG is the factory upgrade trigger for the Extar EP9 and EP45. It uses the standard AR-15 mil-spec fire control group pattern that the EP lower accepts natively, with a nickel Teflon coating that reduces friction over the basic steel trigger that ships with the base model EP9. The flat trigger shoe provides a wider, more consistent finger contact surface than the curved OEM trigger.

Installation is a standard AR-15 FCG swap: push out two pins, drop in the new group, and reinstall the pins. The EP9 lower uses a small metal tuning plate under the set screws to protect the polymer receiver from tension-screw marring, so any cassette-style aftermarket trigger needs the same adapter. The nickel Teflon coating runs approximately 1,000-2,000 rounds between cleanings with less friction buildup than uncoated steel. This is a factory part, available only from Extar USA, and ships with the trigger, hammer, disconnector, springs, and pins.
