Geissele
Two-stage match trigger module for the FN SCAR family with a 3.2 to 4.6 lb total pull.
The factory FN SCAR trigger is the single biggest letdown on an otherwise excellent rifle: heavy, gritty, and long. The Geissele Super SCAR fixes it. It is a two-stage design built on the same wire-EDM-cut hammer and trigger geometry Geissele uses across its AR line, tuned for the SCAR fire control housing. The first stage runs 2 to 2.8 lb of light take-up, the second stage breaks at 1.2 to 1.8 lb, and total pull lands in the 3.2 to 4.6 lb window depending on assembly. The break is clean and the reset is short and positive.
It fits the entire civilian SCAR family: SCAR 15P, SCAR 16, SCAR 17, and SCAR 20. Installation is a multi-piece job rather than a sealed cassette, so it takes longer than the drop-in Timney SCAR trigger and rewards patience or a gunsmith. The payoff is the lighter, two-stage feel that makes the .308 SCAR 17 a credible precision rifle and tightens up the 5.56 SCAR 16 for fast, accurate strings. Street price is around $293 against a $335 MSRP.
