Aero Precision M5 .308 16" Complete Upper (ATLAS S-ONE)

The Aero Precision M5 .308 16-inch complete upper is the shortcut to a mag-fed AR-10 hog rifle without sourcing a barrel, handguard, and gas system separately. It ships assembled with a 16-inch .308 Win CMV barrel, a mid-length gas system with a low-profile gas block and gas tube installed, and Aero's ATLAS S-ONE 15-inch M-LOK handguard on a forged 7075 upper receiver. Mid-length gas on a 16-inch .308 softens the impulse and eases the port pressure a suppressor adds, which matters on a rifle you may shoot suppressed at night.

The one thing this upper does not include is a bolt carrier group or charging handle, so budget an M5/.308 BCG and a charging handle before you can run it. Once assembled onto a DPMS-pattern (Gen 1 / SR-25 style) M5 lower, the 5/8x24 threaded muzzle takes a standard .30-caliber brake or a direct-thread or QD suppressor, and the full-length top rail carries a thermal or an LPVO for feeder work.
