Wilson Combat's Bullet Proof line is their precision-fit billet steel parts for serious 1911 builds. The ambidextrous thumb safety solves the chronic wobble problem on cheap ambi safeties with CNC-machined carbon steel billet construction, a tactical lever profile, and a right-side lever retained by Wilson's unique hammer-pin design.
Like most premium 1911 controls, this is not a casual drop-in part. The safety lug should be fit to the pistol, and Wilson recommends minor fitting by a qualified pistolsmith. Available in blued carbon steel and stainless variants. Single-side variants exist at lower price points if you do not need ambidextrous operation.
