Federal Power-Shok Low Recoil 00 buck is the load you shoot a lot of while learning to run a defensive shotgun. It carries nine 00 pellets like the premium loads, but uses Federal's Triple Plus wad with granulated buffer rather than the FLITECONTROL rear-braking design. Patterns are wider than FLITECONTROL, and the 1,140 fps reduced-recoil velocity keeps the gun controllable across long practice sessions. At a meaningfully lower price than the purpose-built defensive loads, it is the sensible choice for volume training.
