Overview

The BoreBuddy AR22 Bolt Group is the operating core for a dedicated .22 LR AR upper. It ships with BoreBuddy's Gen 2 barrel collar, which mates the bolt to a purpose-built rimfire barrel instead of using the chamber adapter found on a 5.56 conversion kit.

The standard assembly uses a hardened round firing pin, hardened extractor, and six-pound recoil spring. BoreBuddy lists the bolt for its own barrels and compatible dedicated barrels from Beyer, CMMG, Right to Bear, and Palmetto State Armory. That makes it a practical replacement or starting point when the goal is a dedicated upper rather than a caliber swap inside a 5.56 barrel.

Bolt finish is selectable. The standard stainless and nitride versions share the same base price and parts package. Quiet-collar and other tuned variants are separate choices on the same product page.
