BoreBuddy
Heat-treated adjustable trip bar that gives a dedicated .22LR bolt the trip surface a forced reset cassette needs to cycle on rimfire.

A dedicated .22LR blowback bolt does not present the full-auto-style trip surface a forced reset cassette times off, which is why a Rare Breed or Disruptor cassette runs on a .22 host only with a trip kit added. The BoreBuddy Gen 2 Adjustable Trip Kit is that part: a heat-treated bar that mounts to the bolt and replicates the trip surface, letting the cassette get the rearward travel it needs to reset between shots. It also enables Fostech binary triggers and full-auto fire control on the same .22 bolts.
The Gen 2 bar is adjustable, which is the feature that matters on a finicky rimfire build. Loosen the two screws and slide the bar fore or aft to advance or retard the trip timing; standard timing is the bar all the way forward against the rear screw, and that is the starting point you tune from. Torque the screws to 12 in-lb, 15 in-lb maximum. Time the rifle with no ammunition first, then confirm with live fire.
It fits BoreBuddy, PSA, RTB, and CMMG-style .22LR bolts, so it pairs with the CMMG Banshee dedicated upper and the CMMG conversion kit that anchor most AR22 forced reset builds. BoreBuddy sells it direct at $72.99.
