The Faxon Firearms Gen 2 9mm PCC BCG is a 14.9-ounce full-mass blowback carrier made from Mil-Spec 8620 steel with a salt bath nitride finish. Faxon states that it uses dual Glock and Colt geometry, also works with MP5 magazine lowers, and includes a user-removable carrier weight. Its ramped bottom supports common triggers, while an AR-15 style pivoted, sprung extractor (Gen 2 upgrade) and standard firing pin cotter pin simplify service.
Faxon lists the carrier as M16 full-auto compatible. In an August 2026 bench test, its trip shelf ran the Partisan Disruptor and Triggered Company LAT cassette FRTs without weight modification. That cassette result does not cover selector-style forced reset systems, which still require a notched internal weight or a pre-cut carrier.
